Graal x Mutual Act

Cœur du Christ / Heart of Christ

The “fragile” heart is made of stone to protect it from wounds, pain, and blood — for there has been enough suffering for both us and Him.

This piece immortalizes His love for us, and ours for Him. It also subtly draws on the legend of the sword in the stone: it is not a person of physical strength, but one with a pure soul, a great heart, and good intentions who can draw the sword from the stone — as a sign of turning violence into love and peace, something the world needs now more than ever.

This piece is about the brightest and purest of thoughts and feelings; about mercy and kindness; about forgiving pain through love and acceptance, rather than inflicting pain in return.

Its purpose is to uplift — to make us better and purer, bringing us closer to His image and likeness.
